When you are a student or have just graduated, you are most likely on a really tight budget. I know I was. When I was in school I did work study to help pay for my car and had little extra even for groceries, not to mention all the school bills I racked up once I graduated. The last thing on my agenda was taking a vacation, although I often though getting away would definitely do me some good. The only type of getaway I could manage while I was a student was when my parents fronted the bill to send me home for a holiday or quick weekend.
